Since 2005, as a 1st AD, I have helped deliver over 400 broadcast commercials and 200 music videos. Preceding this, I worked for seven years through the AD grades in long and short format.

I have a wealth of specialist experience in the following areas: car stunts, bespoke stunt rigging, vehicle tracking and chasing, marine and underwater work, horse work and animals, sfx, vfx shoots, wire work, aerial work including drones and in vision helicopters, large crowd work, multi-camera shoots, crane, phantom, motion capture, motion control and bolt shoots, complex and frame accurate shot setting, large-scale stop frame animations, international sports stars and A-list celebrities and actors. I have extensive experience in helping directors nurture performances from children, over many years of shooting high profile campaigns with young talent.

I have shot in over 30 countries worldwide, and am skilled in co-ordinating and delivering all aspects of technically and creatively demanding film work. Testimony to my experience and approach is the longevity of my partnerships with some of the most highly acclaimed commercials directors and producers of recent decades. Amongst others, I have stood by Dougal Wilson’s side on 29 projects since 2007, and by Frederic Planchon’s for 15 projects since 2013.
